Waist measurements are based on the waistband'sfull extension- that is the maximum inches that the waist will extend to.
Please note: Our Darkstreet pants and this skirt do not fit like typical jeans! The pant drawstrings and adjustable waist buckles allow for down to a 4" tighter fit. Depending on how you like to wear your pants (high waist, low waist, or hip) , we suggest measuring at that area with a measuring tape and selecting your size according to that measurement. If that area measures to the maximum measurement on our chart, we suggest that you go up one size for a baggier fit.
